In a destination like the Canary Islands, visitors look for a wide range of activities to enjoy with the family. This time, we bring you a Lanzarote water parks guide so you can include them in your itinerary. Find out where they are and what the best attractions are in each one.
Best water parks in Lanzarote
Do you want to enjoy a day of pools and slides? Lanzarote offers several water parks where you can enjoy fun experiences with the whole family.
Aquapark Costa Teguise: the main water park on the island
The largest and most complete water park in Lanzarote is Aquapark Costa Teguise. As it is the biggest, it also offers the widest range of activities for all tastes, from steep slides to calm lagoons for younger children and a river with rapids.
The aquapark features a total of 25 slides and 11 pools, as well as food areas, restaurants, a jacuzzi, sun loungers and more. In addition to water attractions, there is also paintball and a virtual reality room, both available at an additional cost.
Aqualava Playa Blanca: modern and eco-friendly option
Aqualava is the newest water park, and, although it is smaller in size, it is an excellent option for the whole family. Some of its most famous attractions are spiral slides, a saltwater wave pool unique in Lanzarote, and the magma river, ideal for relaxing while drifting along the current.
The pool water is heated using a geothermal system, making it the most eco-friendly option. In addition, the park’s design reflects the island’s volcanic origin. You will also find services such as a restaurant, shops, parasols, sunbeds, changing rooms, Wi-Fi and more.
Dino Park: a different kind of family fun
If you are travelling to Lanzarote with children, they will love visiting this theme park. The water park is part of the Aparthotel Paradise Island facilities; it is open to both guests and the general public.
It features tube slides and children’s areas. For the more adventurous, there are kamikaze-style slides.
